PopEater’s rocking the polls again, this time on hot topic David Letterman. Now that his sex scandal and extortion news has been blasted all over the internet, they want to know whether or not you think he’ll bounce back. Will his image be forever tarnished?
PopEater’s initial poll showed that almost 75% of 80,000 voters said David Letterman would come out of this on top.
Scott Robson, the Editor in Chief of AOL Television, exclusively told PopEater that “He’s always been open with his audience — the stalker, the speeding tickets, the heart surgery, the threats to his son — and this just continues that pattern. In many ways, it’s a well-played pre-emptive strike on his part to get ahead of news that was bound to come out.”
“There are other TV personalities who’d be harmed by this sort of thing. Not Dave. In six months there will be some reference to it on a top 10 list and everyone will chuckle,” Showbiz 411’s Editor added.
