Ukranian Mother Says,”I Will Not Give My Baby To Elton John For Any Money”
The mother of the Ukrainian child that Elton John and partner David Furnish are trying to adopt has spoken out against the proceedings, saying “I will not give my baby to Elton John for any money.”
According to The Sun, Marina, the 25-year-old mother of 15-month-old Lev, an alcoholic who has had both of her children taken into care by social workers, insisted she could change her ways and regain custody. She admitted: “I understand Elton’s feelings. Lev is a very sunny and cheerful boy. It’s impossible not to love him. But I’m going to overcome my problems. I so much want my babies back.”
Sir Elton, 62, announced last month that he and partner David Furnish, 46, wanted to give a Lev a home after meeting the child in an orphanage.
